Floral Industry Support

The CalFlowers Board of Directors is committed to supporting initiatives that drive floral consumption, attract new talent to the industry, and deliver value to members and the broader floral community.

In 2024, CalFlowers invested $847,000 in projects and partnerships that support the floral industry. Key initiatives included sponsoring J Schwanke’s Life In Bloom, the Memorial Day Flower Foundation, national and state floral association events, and educational programs; funding research on pest management, sustainable growing practices, and floral sector innovation; advocating for ornamental flower market expansion through campaigns like That Flower Feeling; and contributing to the American Floral Endowment Scholarship Fund to foster workforce development and innovation.
